Yes, let’s talk …

My mind has been in my new book, preoccupied with structure and accuracy

when what I really want is to chat with a friend.

I discovered Enchanting Marketing with Henneke who has a genius method..

So, I signed up for Enchanting Marketing’s free “snackable writing” offer.

Despite great lessons, I was could not get a grip on conversational writing.

I had questions.

And then Henneke emailed her readers - me being one of them -

She asked, “What would you like to write?”

Science on one hand, conversation on the other -

I was definitely stuck between the two.

I decided my book needed more of the “enchanting” touch.

In a personal email exchange, Henneke asked what my book was about.

My answer was quite factual:

“The book will cover the scientific support for my discovery. My intention in the book is to have the defense of my theory unfold within various scientific bases. In the process, I replace complex terms that are used in science with descriptions in language more familiar to the readers.”

Yeah, that’s how I write …

Henneke led me through with suggestions that seemed possible to em:

'Write as if speaking to a single person, she advised.

Consider blogging chapters of your book.

She opened my eyes to the possibility that a blog could be the hybrid I was lookin for -

having a book conversation in a blog as if I were chatting with a friend.

So, copying her method, I wrote to her about my book in a conversational way.

She replied,

“I now get what you're doing. It's more vivid, less abstract." (Big WOW!)

Secondly, it feels like you're writing to me personally. (I was)

Thirdly, because I can feel your passion shining through.” (That’s new…)

She had said that she was “intrigued” by what I'm writing about.

Sometimes that's enough to satisfy me and I would rather you explore on your own so I don't ruin that.

But, following her advice, I made this pitch to her:

Do you have moments when you really feel alive? When what you do seems to run through you with a power of its own?

What if you could lasso that power and plug your whole life into it?

I discovered where that generator lives inside of me. And it lives inside of you, too.

It's a human nature kind of thing.

I think everyone has a scientist vein in their nature these days - what with space exploration, and all.

The brain is another world to explore, how to know yourself well and make use of all your resources.

From my studies, I know that your way is unique to you. It's your version of unconscious competence.

I can show you how your unconscious mind is a silent source of individualized energy.

Still intrigued?

I still need to develop a good closing with a call to action, but hey, it’s progress!
